Favorite high school memory: Singing in Carnegie Hall in New York City with my chorus.

Advice to freshmen: “Just do what you love and be yourself at school. You’ll make tons of lasting friendships that way!”
Favorite high school memory: Traveling to New York City with the Varsity Singers to sing at Carnegie Hall.
Proudest high school moment: Becoming a role model for two little girls that I met while in the hospital.
If I had $10 million: I would pay for college, donate to organizations that fund childhood cancer research and establish my own non-profit foundation with a mission to support teenagers and young adults who are battling cancer.

Other extracurricular activities or honors: Interning with Dr. Notaro at Cabarrus Family Medicine of China Grove, volunteering at a summer camp for children with disabilities called Footprints in the Community, attending church at First Reformed in Landis.
Advice to freshmen: “Get involved at school. Whether it be art, band or sports, being a part of a group is a great way to make lots of friends and have fun!”
Favorite high school memory: Cheering at my first Friday night football game in 10th grade.
Proudest high school moment: Getting accepted into the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
If I had $10 million: I would first give a portion to my church. Then I would travel the world and experience all of the various cultures across many different countries. After becoming a physician, I would go to third world countries and provide vaccinations for the children and adults who could not otherwise afford it. I would also give some to my mom and dad for being such amazing parents!

Other extracurricular activities or honors: Student of the Month February 2013, junior marshal at graduation 2013, recipient of all eight possible academic letters.
Advice to freshmen: “Do what you love because, in the end, the only person you have to please is yourself.”
Favorite high school memory: Going out to the pond to write poetry about nature with my classmates.
Proudest high school moment: Making a 1950 on my SAT or passing Advanced Placement statistics and Advanced Placement English III in the same semester.
If I had $10 million: I would pay for college at East Carolina University and donate much of the money to the American Cancer Society and other organizations dedicated to disease research and the advancement of disease treatment.
