Taylor Mauldin scored the other goal for the Raiders.
Kelby Porter had a goal and an assist to lead the Mustangs.

In a 2-1 loss to Thomasville, Allison Lingle scored the first goal of the season for the Cavaliers.

College softball
Pfeiffer won 4-1 against Lenoir-Rhyne in the first round of regional play at Armstrong.
Vida Blue Sherrill drove in three runs for the Falcons (38-15). Callie Kuykendall pitched a complete game.
Sherrill was selected to the second team All-Southeast Region.

Intimidators
The Kannapolis Intimidators suffered their first shutout loss of the season, falling to the Hagerstown Suns, 7-0, on a rainy Thursday at Intimidators Stadium.
Kannapolis (12-15) saw its season-best four-game winning streak come to an end.
Hagerstown pounded out 17 hits, with Rhett Wiseman and Edwin Lora getting four apiece.
Kannapolis managed a season-low three hits on the night while suffering its first shutout loss since Sep. 1, 2015.
The Intimidators wraps up the three-game series against the Suns tonight at 7:05 p.m.

Prep golf

The NCHSAA is set to hold the annual golf state championsihps on Monday and and Tuesday in the Pinehurst area at four different sites.

Prep softball
Salisbury will play Thomasville on Friday at 5 p.m. at East Davidson for the CCC’s No. 3 seed for the state playoffs.
Softball brackets will be released this weekend.
Wonders
A.L. Brown rolled, 10-0, against Mallard Creek in a MECKA semifinal on Thursday.
The Wonders scored seven runs in the third inning.
Kaylee Cook held Mallard Creek to two hits and struck out 11.
Allie Baker had three hits and four RBIs for the Wonders.
Kelly Chrismon had two hits.

NHL
ST. LOUIS — Cody Eakin scored at 2:58 of overtime and the Dallas Stars beat the St. Louis Blues 3-2 on Thursday night, bouncing back from a blowout loss two days earlier to tie the second-round series at two games apiece.
Patrick Sharp set up the winner and also scored for the Stars, coming off a 6-1 loss in Game 3. Rookie Radek Faksa had the other goal.
Vladimir Tarasenko scored his sixth goal of the playoffs on a first-period breakaway and added an assist for St. Louis, giving him five points in the last two games. Paul Stastny also scored off a deflection from Tarasenko.
Game 5 is Saturday in Dallas.
Eakin has a goal and seven assists in the postseason. He beat Brian Elliott on a 3-on-2 break after the Blues pressured goalie Kari Lehtonen on the opposite end.
