Students from Mount Ulla Elementary School visited the Rowan County Administration Building on Tuesday. While there, they elected five county commissioners, picked a county manager and finance director as well as a county attorney and clerk to the board. They students also held elections for chair and vice chair. Students then took their seats on the board and went through a mock meeting. The event was organized by Kyle Whisenant.
