Rowan County Weather says we’ll see sunny skies and highs in the 50s today, then dip down below freezing again tonight.
Pollen is high, as any allergy sufferer will tell you. And there’s rain in the forecast for this weekend. Rowan County Weather’s “mowing forecast” says Friday is your best bet.
Meanwhile, cross-state runner David Freeze is still cold as he makes his way to Siler City today.
If you’re into watching the moon, check out Wayne Hinshaw’s “Moonstruck” column.
On that subject, we’re between the new moon (March 17) and the first quarter (March 24).
The next full moon is coming up right before Easter on Saturday, March 31 — a “blue” moon because it will be the second full moon of the month.
Trivia: Since we also had two full moons in January, some would call the March 31 full moon a “double blue moon.”
