An article published in Thursday’s edition omitted the state performance grades of several schools in the Rowan-Salisbury School System. A chart is included below that shows grades from every school in the system.

The state released results of every school in North Carolina on Wednesday. A plurality of schools in the Rowan-Salisbury System received a grade of D. The next most common grade was C. The highest ranking was achieved by Rowan County Early College, which was awarded a B.

The grades rely on test scores and improvement or growth of students to a lesser extent. The final grade is 80 percent test scores and 20 percent growth or improvement.
