ROCKWELL — A single-vehicle wreck on Sam Euart Road in Rockwell left one person pinned for about 30 minutes Sunday night.
The investigating trooper with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol trooper is off-duty and few details are available.
Frank Thomason, director of emergency management services in Rowan County, said crews were dispatched to a crash in the 200 block of Sam Euart Road about 9:30 p.m.
The vehicle ran off the road and hit a tree, Thomason said. The driver was able to get free, but crews worked for about 30 minutes before freeing the passenger.
The person was taken by ambulance to Rowan Regional Medical Center.
