The More at Four class at Woodleaf Elementary celebrated Dr. Seuss by reading the book “Green Eggs and Ham” and then cooked green eggs and ham in the classroom.
The children helped by mixing the eggs and then talked about how to turn them into green eggs. Teachers and students filled a cup of water and added green food coloring to the cup to show the children what happened. They than added the green food coloring to the eggs.
They really enjoyed eating the green eggs and ham and asked for more. It was a very fun experience and the children were still talking about it to their parents at the end of the day. Teacher Tammy Currie and assistant Deborah Mattox led the class.
