West Rowan running back K.P. Parks and defensive end Chris Smith have been selected to represent North Carolina in the 73rd Shrine Bowl, which will be held Dec. 19 in Spartanburg, S.C.
West coach Scott Young will be an assistant on the North Carolina staff. The N.C. team will be coached by Charlotte Catholic’s Jim Oddo.
