n Jolly Manning is not a current member of the Harlem Globetrotters, as a story in Thursdayís education section said. According to a team spokesman, he played with the team very briefly during the homestretch of the Globetrottersí most recent North American tour, and that came after he worked out while the team was touring in North Carolina, not during a week in New York. Also, he is not the first player ever to make the Globetrotters after his first tryout.
n Hood Theological Seminary has established The Bishop and Mrs. George E. Battle Jr. distinguished Professorial Chair in Old Testament Language and Literature. The wrong institution was listed in Thursdayís Post.
