Marijuana found in home

SALISBURY — Authorities with the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office shut down a marijuana growing operation Thursday afternoon.
Officers served a search warrant at 1075 Cornerstone Lane, discovering three marijuana plants growing under lights, one large plant and two smaller plants.
Joshua Ryan Dayvault, 21, of the residence, was home during the search, and charged with felony manufacturing of marijuana, maintaining a dwelling for marijuana, simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Dayvault was given a $10,000 secured bond.
