In Salisbury Police Department reports:

• An attempted theft of a motor vehicle occurred in the 700 block of South Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue at 2:50 a.m. on April 17.
• A theft of a motor vehicle occurred in the 400 block of Kincaid Road between 6:30 p.m. on April 16 and 6:30 a.m. on April 17.
• A theft of a motor vehicle occurred in the 700 block of Wilson Road between 9:15 p.m. on April 16 and 4:30 a.m. on April 17.

In Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:

• Littering or trash dumping occurred at East Ridge Road at 11:03 a.m. on April 16.
• A larceny occurred at Happy Lake Road between 2:20 p.m. on Jan. 20 and 2:20 p.m. on Jan. 27. It was reported on April 16.
• An assault occurred in the 6500 block of East N.C. Highway 152 at 10 p.m. on April 16.
• Recayah Ziasha Shahid, 27, was charged with misdemeanor second-degree trespassing on April 16.
• Jenny Lynn Chamberlain, 68, was charged with felony possession of a stolen vehicle and misdemeanor burning of solid waste on April 16.
• Cameron Tyler Beasley, 24, was charged with felony possession of a stolen vehicle on April 16.
