SALISBURY — A Cleveland man is accused of taking a tree stand used for deer hunting in Iredell County and selling it.
Donald Lee Beaver, 25, of 1060 Raven St. in Cleveland, is charged with misdemeanor larceny and felony obtaining property by false pretenses.
According to the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office, Beaver took a two-man tree stand and Remington deer feeder, worth a total of $306. He then sold the tree stand to another man, the warrant said.
Beaver posted $1,000 bond at the Rowan County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear Wednesday in Iredell County court.
