Bryan Ketchie started and took the loss. Chance Bowden had three hits, Hanes drove in two runs, and Jacob Nester went 3-for-3.

Catawba (37-14) overcame an early 4-0 deficit with a four-run second, but  the Eagles just kept scoring and finally took control with a three-run seventh.

Lincoln Memorial and Carson-Newman will play for the championship today.  Carson-Newman will have to beat Lincoln Memorial twice to get the SAC’s automatic regional bid.
