Division I
Western Michigan’s Keion Adams (Salisbury) made five tackles, two for loss, in a 35-13 win against Ohio. Adams shared a sack in the MAC victory.

South Carolina State’s Javon Hargrave (North Rowan) almost personally wrecked homecoming at Delaware State. Hargrave had eight tackles, including three sacks, and added a forced fumble in a 34-7 victory.

Charlotte’s Najee Tucker (West Rowan) made four tackles in a 44-10 loss to Southern Miss. Khalif Phillips (A.L. Brown) rushed 17 times for 71 yards for the 49ers.

UNC’s Damien Washington (A.L. Brown) had a 27-yard reception in a 23-13 win against Virginia.

Daveon Perry (A.L. Brown) played close to home Saturday and had a kickoff return (for 14 yards) and two punt returns (for 12 yards) in a 23-21 win against Livingstone.
Kyrell Williamson (A.L. Brown) made six tackles for the Rams.

Chris Hassard (West Rowan) played well on the offensive line for UNC Pembroke in Saturday’s 39-21 loss at Catawba.
UNCP’s Charles Holloway expects to graduate in December with a degree in criminal justice.
For Catawba, Mark McDaniel (South Rowan) made four tackles, Jamal Lackey (Davie) had four tackles and a pass breakup, and Joshua Moses (East Rowan) had two tackles.
Tim Pangburn (West Rowan) started at left guard for the Indians.

Johnny Delahoussaey (A.L. Brown) has nine catches for 202 yards this season for Charleston.

West Liberty’s Quentin Sifford (West Rowan) made four tackles in a 59-51 loss to Notre Dame College (Ohio).

In Tusculum’s 45-11 win against Limestone, Emmanuel Gbunblee (West Rowan) made three tackles for Tusculum, while Logan Stoodley (West Rowan) made five for the Saints.

Erik Amaya (A.L. Brown) kicked two PATs and a 29-yard field goal in Johnson C. Smith’s 17-10 homecoming win against Shaw on Saturday.
Sheldon Saddler (A.L. Brown) started at left tackle for Shaw.

In Averett’s 31-26 loss to Maryville, Hobie Proctor (West Rowan) averaged 39.6 yards on five punts, averaged 52 yards on five kickoffs and kicked two PATs.
Averett’s Dontae Gilbert (Carson) had three tackles, a pass breakup and an 8-yard reception.

In Guilford’s 41-21 win against Randolph-Macon, Devin Mason (South Rowan) had a sack for a 9-yard loss.
Guilford’s Adam Smith (Davie) continued his phenomenal season with seven catches, 79 yards and touchdown catches of 8, 14 and 32 yards.
For the season, the former quarterback has 53 catches for 883 yards and 13 TDs. He produced 15 TD catches and topped 1,000 yards last season.
