Novant schedules baby-centered event for Sunday

Novant Health will have its inaugural Rock-A-Bye Baby Jam on Sunday at the Historic Salisbury Train Depot.

The event will start at 2 p.m. and continue until 5 p.m. The train depot is at 215 Depot Street in Salisbury.

The event is  free and will feature music, refreshments, shopping and door prizes for moms and soon-to-be moms. Vendors and exhibitors include Amanda Eller Photography, Belk, Carolinas Cord Blood Banking, DeChoker, The Lettered Lily, Lora Belle Baby, Merle Norman, Partners in Learning, Smart Start, Watch Me Grow Ultrasound and more.

The Salisbury Fire Department will be on site demonstrating car seat safety and physicians with Novant Health Carolina Women’s Health Associates and staff with Salisbury Pediatric Associates will be present.

“Whether you have young children, are currently expecting, or just thinking about preparing for pregnancy, the Rock-A-Bye Baby Jam is a great way for women to have fun and learn about the services and resources that are available in Rowan County,” said Dari Caldwell, president of Novant Health Rowan Medical Center.
