SPENCER ó Spencer Police are looking for a man who robbed the SunTrust bank on South Salisbury Avenue Thursday morning wearing what appeared to be a Northwest Airlines jacket.
At 9:13 a.m., a man walked into the bank and handed a note to the teller. He did not display a weapon, police Sgt. Eric Ennis said.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s, around 5 feet 7 inches tall with a medium build, wearing a blue hooded shirt with a tan T-shirt underneath.
He was wearing a navy-blue ball cap with a green emblem on the back and blue jeans. He had a silver band on his right hand and wore black sunglasses. The suspect had light-colored hair and facial hair. An emblem on the back of the man’s jacket appeared to be from Northwest Airlines, and his jeans and jacket appeared to have grease or some type of dirt on them, police said.
He may have been driving a tan, older-model, four-door Oldsmobile or a vehicle similar to an older Oldsmobile.
