In Salisbury Police Department reports:

  • Resisting arrest and the recovery of a stolen vehicle occurred in the 1300 block of Tabernacle Street at 2:30 a.m. on April 3.
  • A theft of a motor vehicle occurred in the 500 block of North Shaver Street at 9:48 a.m. on April 3.
  • A hit and run causing property damage occurred in the 100 block of West Innes Street between 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on April 3.
  • A hit and run causing property damage occurred in the 100 block of South Main Street at 4:45 p.m. on April 3.
  • Fraud occurred in the 100 block of East Liberty Street at 6:19 p.m. on April 3. The total estimated loss was $2,000.
  • Fraud occurred in the 800 block of Colby Circle between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. on April 3. The total estimated loss was $1,000.
  • An affray occurred in the 300 block of South Arlington Street at 10:32 p.m. on April 3.

In Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:

  • Sale of a dangerous drug occurred at Interstate 85 at 10:50 a.m. on April 2. Captain Mark McDaniel, a spokesperson for the sheriff’s office, said that the incident is still under an active investigation.
  • An accident involving a county-owned vehicle at North Main Street between 8:34 p.m. and 11:50 p.m. on April 1. It was reported on April 2.
  • Myia Savannah Morales, 20, was charged with assault on a female on April 2.
  • Nikalas David Wooten, 30, was charged with assault on a female on April 2.
  • Theresa Dawn Jordan, 55, was charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia on April 2.
