SALISBURY — April is Child Abuse Prevention month and in recognition of efforts to curb child abuse, New Sarum Brewing is hosting Bands, Brews & BBQ on Saturday.

The event takes place from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the downtown Salisbury brewery, located at 109 N Lee St., Salisbury.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Terrie Hess Child Advocacy Center.

There is no admission fee and no need to stay for the entire day. People can take chances on themed baskets with awesome items and winners will not need to be present to win.
