High school track and field: South senior runs fast 3200

RALEIGH — South Rowan senior Eli Julian ran a 9:17 3200 in the high-powered Raleigh Relays on Friday and finished seventh.
That’s a school and county record for Julian, who will run for Liberty University in the fall.
The Rowan County Championships are scheduled for East Rowan on April 12.
