North Hills sports: Eagles compete in first ever track meet

MOORESVILLE — North Hills Christian School competed in its first track meet at Woodlawn School recently, as the athletic department continues to grow.

Seven schools participated.

Malachi Strong led the Eagles. He won the 100 and 400 dashes and placed second in the 200.

Jerrod Drye finished third in the long jump, fifth in the 200 and sixth in the 100.

In the girls competition, Elise Budzisch was fourth in the 1600, while Carmen Jones was fifth in the 1600.

The North Hills coaches are Speedy Smith and Michelle Droddy.
