Power Curbers presents annual employee awards

SALISBURY — Power Curbers recently honored associates for commitment awards and years of service at their annual Holiday Party.

Each year, Power Curbers recognizes two associates as winners of the Messinger Commitment Award. Criteria for the award, named for long-time past Presidents Richard Messinger and Dyke Messinger, include having a positive attitude, being a team player, producing quality work and dedication to the Power Curbers mission statement, “Our Commitment Shows.”  This year’s winners were Eddie Graham and Richard Collins.

Graham, a Rowan County native, has worked at Power Curbers since 2007. He currently works at the Power Curbers Rebuild Center. His coworkers nominated him for his positive attitude, willingness to go the extra mile and commitment to his job. Graham is married to his wife Angela and has one daughter, Jessica.

Collins has lived in Rowan County since 1980 and has worked in Production Control at Power Curbers since 2019. He assists with production scheduling, machine rebuild operations and purchasing. His coworkers recognize him for being positive, punctual, hard-working and always willing to help others. Outside of work, Collins enjoys spending time and traveling with his wife, Andora, and son, Chad.
