Thanksgiving Day Butterball 5K has record attendance

The Forum hosted runners from 11 states and the District of Columbia on Thanksgiving morning. With a record 384 registered runners, the race was able to present a check for $12,000 to the Terrie Hess House.

Locals took five of the six top winning places with Robert Miller taking the top spot in 17 minutes and 15 seconds. Bricen Burleson was second in 17:18 with Trent Rivers taking third in 17:38. Maleah Pinyan led the women in 20:14, followed by Adalie Harrison with 20:34. April Cobb of Fayetteville took third in 21:33.
