DENTON — Salisbury’s girls soccer team pulled out a 3-2 Central Carolina Conference decision at South Davidson on a rainy Tuesday night.

Salisbury (5-2-1, 2-1) overcame 1-0 and 2-1 deficits and scored last.

“A very bizarre match,” Salisbury coach Matt Parrish said. “We gave up an own goal, we missed a penalty kick and both squads had injuries. Our “newbies” proved to be the difference, in the front and the back.

Salisbury is scheduled to play East Davidson at home at 6 p.m. on Wednesday if soggy Ludwig Stadium can be prepared for play.
