Rowan Museum History Club presents ‘Hollywood Goes to War’

Monday, February 24 the Rowan Museum and Rowan Public Library announce a History Club meeting at 7 p.m. in the Stanback Room of the Rowan Public Library. Mike Cline, local movie aficionado will speak on the role of film and cartoons in the war effort. This is the fourth in a series of lectures known as “Victory 45!” a year-long celebration of the end of World War II in 1945 by the Rowan Museum and Rowan Public Library.

Aaron Kepley, Executive Director of Rowan Museum states, “’Victory 45’ is an exciting way to engage with the local community to learn more about World War II through lectures and sharing local stories. We are really looking forward to ‘Hollywood Goes to War’ to tell a story many of us know about but have never explored.”
