It’s going to be another hot day, then we get a little break before it heats up again.

Today will be mostly sunny and 88, with calm wind this morning, then east northeast wind around 6 mph this afternoon. There is a 20 percent chance of showers between 3 and 5 p.m., then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 5.

Tonight will have a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with mostly cloudy skies and a low of 63. East northeast wind will be around 8 mph. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected. Patchy fog will form around 4 a.m.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny and cooler, with a high of 79. There will be a 20 percent chance of showers before 11 a.m. Winds will be east northeast around 5-7 mph.

Wednesday night will be mostly clear and 56, with light northeast wind.

Thursday will be sunny and 76, with east northeast wind at 3-8 mph. The low will be 52, with mostly clear skies.

Friday will be sunny and 80. The low will be 54, again with clear skies.

Saturday will be sunny and 85, with a low of 58 and clear skies.

Sunday will be sunny and 87, with a low of 62.

Monday, the first day of fall, will be mostly sunny and 88.
