SALISBURY — A teenager was shot in the foot early Saturday on West Horah Street, according to the Salisbury Police Department.

No suspect has been arrested, officials said Tuesday.

The shooting was reported about 4 a.m. in the 1400 block of West Horah Street. Officials said two young men were sitting in a Nissan Altima in a driveway. They were listening to music and then heard gunshots, a police report said.

Both men realized the shots were being fired at them, and they bolted from the vehicle.

The 19-year-old received a gunshot wound to a toe, and a bullet grazed his buttocks. The other teenager was not injured.

The injured teen was taken to the hospital in a private vehicle.

Police said the vehicle was struck 11 times. Investigators found at least 18 gun shell casings in the road.
