J. C. Price National Alumni Association will celebrate its reunion June 14-16 at the Livingstone Culinary Arts Centery. Events include a fish fry, the Legacy Breakfast where members 90 years and older will be honored, with Odell Watson as the speaker, and the Red and Black Scholarship Ball. KANNAPOLIS — For the upcoming Black History Celebration on June 29 at the Kannapolis Middle School, the Kannapolis African-American Museum and Cultural Center (KAA-MaCC) Inc. is compiling a historical list of African-American service members born in Cabarrus or Rowan County.
The interest is in both past and current members of any of the United States Armed Services from any period. If you know anyone who should be recognized on the Military Wall “Remembering & Honoring Military Service Members,” complete the form at igfn.us/form/PFBlOw at www.kaamacc.org. Extended submission deadline is June 12.
