The Arc of Rowan is offering a seminar, “Guardianship 101,” on April 9 featuring Rowan County Clerk of Court Jeff Barger.

The information presented will be for families affected by developmental disabilities. The seminar will cover reasons for considering legal guardianship; terminology and definitions involving guardianship; an overview of the step-by-step process; necessary documentation to apply for guardianship; and alternatives to guardianship.

The seminar will be from 6 to 8 p.m. April 9 at The Arc of Rowan, 108 Dorsett Drive. The session is free.
