The East Rowan 8U All-Stars won the Southeast Regional in Ocala, Fla. East Rowan  won pool games against Oakleaf, Fla. (7-1), Martin, Tenn. (11-3) and Carrigan, Fla. (9-6). Rowan advanced to the single-elimination bracket and won twice on the same day against Winterville, N.C. (6-4) and Oakleaf (7-1). Rowan won the championship, 4-3, against Phipps Park, Fla., coming back to tie in the fifth inning and winning in the seventh. The team was welcomed home with a celebration at Rockwell Elementary School on July 25. The team includes Campbell Kyles, Gihovani Marshall, Corbin Yon, Collin Shuffler, Abel Brown, Luke Hill, Cooper Rayfield, Kevin Coffey, Julian Cauble, Case Beaver, Brady Ailshie, Max Poplin, Parker Lahrmer; and coaches  Jason Cauble,Blaine Ailshie and Chris Hill.
