Today was the 2018 STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® US Championship Qualifier, where the top 20 lumberjack athletes in the country competed to earn their spot in the Championship tomorrow. Matt Slingerland of Rockwell, NC qualified and will vie for the Championship at German Fest Milwaukee in front of thousands of fans. July 27, 2018.
At the 2018 STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® US Championship Qualifier in Milwaukee on Friday, Matt Slingerland, of Rockwell (above), earned a spot as one of the top 20 lumberjack athletes in the country. Slingerland will compete today in the championship, at German Fest Milwaukee.
