Time to start another week, and it will be warm and getting warmer through the weekend.

Today will be mostly sunny and 77, with north northeast wind at 5-9 mph.

Tonight, we have a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. A few of those storms could become severe, with gusty winds, heavy downpours and frequent lightning. It will be mostly cloudy and 56, with north wind around 5 mph calming in the evening.

Patchy fog is likely Tuesday morning before 9 a.m. It will be mostly sunny and 75, with northeast wind at 6-10 mph. The low will be 55, with partly cloudy skies and light east northeast wind.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny and 78, with calm winds. The low will be 58 under partly cloudy skies.

Thursday brings a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, especially after 4 p.m. It will be mostly sunny and 84. That same chance of showers and storms is possible through 8 p.m. Thursday. The low will be 62.

Friday has  30 percent of showers between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. It will be mostly sunny and 87. Friday night will be partly cloudy and 63.

Saturday will be mostly sunny and 88, with a 30 percent chance of showers and storms. The low will be 64.
