RALEIGH — The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing Kannapolis man.

Authorities say Dwayne Alan Moreland, 70, is believed to be suffering from dementia or another cognitive impairment.

Moreland is a white man who is 5 foot, 10 inches tall and weighs 224 pounds. He has short gray hair and blue eyes.

He is believed to be driving a 2016 Honda CRV Touring vehicle. It is dark brown and has North Carolina license plate number WYW 6457.
