SALISBURY — A Salisbury woman was charged for taking her clothes off in a convenience store parking lot, police officials said. Another woman called authorities to say a woman was undressing at the Country Cupboard gas station and was on Woodleaf Road behind the store.

Salisbury Police charged Angelina Melinda Marsh, 27, whose address is listed as the streets of Salisbury, with misdemeanor indecent exposure. She was standing on the side of the road when the officer approached her. The officer asked Marsh if she was inside the store taking her clothes off, a report said.

Marsh just looked at the officer, but did not respond to him. The officer explained to Marsh she was not allowed back at the business and couldn’t take her clothes off in a public place. The caller told the officer Marsh had been in the parking lot with her pants off and no underwear.

Police Capt. Melonie Thompson said Marsh has been previously banned from various other Salisbury businesses that include 214 S. Lee St., where she was arrested last month for trespassing. Marsh was banned from Walmart, Gateway Park, the East Innes Street Waffle House, Burger King on East Innes Street, Cracker Barrel, Speedway convenience store, Pizza Hut on Jake Alexander Boulevard, all of the businesses in the Innes Street Market located off Faith Road, 125 Fuller Circle and the Wilco-Hess on Innes Street.

Marsh remains in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $1,500 secured bond. She has been convicted on a number of misdemeanor driving infractions and misdemeanor larceny. She has a pending Rowan County case for impeding traffic by sitting, standing or lying.
