Veterans’ Corner: 2017 Camo Up For Vets 5K

MOORESVILLE —  Welcome Home Veterans Living Military Museum at Richard’s Coffee Shop has announced the date for its 2017 “Camo Up For Vets 5K” will be on May 27. The event will begin and end under the trees in the parking lot behind Richard’s Coffee Shop at 165 N. Main Street on Memorial Day weekend.

Registration for the run is available at QueenCityTiming.com. Each registered runner will receive a “Camo Up For Vets” shirt, custom-designed by 1st Choice Apparel of Mooresville and a commemorative dog tag. Awards will be presented to overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd place men and women in seven age group categories.
