Sidewalk Deli is partnering with Meals on Wheels of Rowan for a March for Meals benefit.

Each Thursday during March, Sidewalk Deli at 120 S. Main St. will donate 10 percent of sales to Meals on Wheels.

This marks the second year that Sidewalk Deli, owned and operated by Rick Anderson McCombs, has supported Meals on Wheels of Rowan in this way. March for Meals is a national initiative of Meals on Wheels Association of America.

Additional March for Meals fundraisers in Rowan County include the ninth annual BBQ Fundraiser on March 14 at First Presbyterian Church in Salisbury. The barbecue sale will feature plates by College Bar-B-Que and desserts. Dine-in and takeout orders will be offered from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

An order for five or more takeout meals will qualify for free delivery.
