SALISBURY — Downtown Salisbury, Inc. will host the second session of its Open House Series on Public Improvements on Tuesday, Oct. 25, from 5 to 7 p.m. at 301 S. Main St.

DSI is working with the Centralina Council of Governments to get the public’s opinion on the downtown improvement process.

The series is a follow-up to the focus group research DSI conducted last year to gather public opinions on downtown Salisbury.

During the first event in June, individuals filled out surveys that asked how the downtown can serve them and the community in the future, what criteria were important in evaluating options for public improvements and what comments or questions they had about the process.

DSI has picked out some options for improving downtown based on the input from the first session and is holding the second session on Tuesday to allow the public to review those options and share their opinions.

DSI and downtown breweries will be providing refreshments.
