Rowan weather: Nice weekend ahead

We’ll have a few more fall days before we go back to summer temperatures for at least half of next week.

Today will be partly sunny and 69, with east northeast wind at 6-8 mph. We might see patchy fog after 1 a.m., but it will be mostly cloudy, with a low of 49. Winds will calm.

Saturday, look for that lingering fog. The fog will lift to partly sunny skies with a high of 69 again, and east northeast wind at 5 mph will calm in the afternoon. The low will be 49, with no wind.

Sunday will be mostly sunny and 74, with light and variable wind. The low will be 55,

We warm up to 79 Monday, with sunny skies. The low will be 58.

A high of 83 is forecast for Tuesday, with more sun. The low will be 58 again.

Wednesday’s high will be 82 and skies will still be sunny. The low will be 59.

Then things change a bit Thursday with a 40 percent chance of showers. It will still be partly sunny, with a high of 76.
