MINNEAPOLIS – Thrivent Mutual Funds has been honored with three prestigious 2016 Thomson Reuters Lipper Fund Awards, including winning the Best Mixed-Assets Small Fund Family Award and being honored as the Best Overall Small Fund Family winner. The Thrivent Large Cap Stock Fund, Class S was also named the Best Global Large-Cap Core Fund over the past three-year performance period.

The Best Overall Small Fund Family Award was based on the risk-adjusted performance of 20 funds in Thrivent Mutual Funds fund family (money market assets are excluded).

For the Best Mixed-Assets – Small Fund Family Award, Thrivent Mutual Funds was recognized based on the performance of all four of the Thrivent Asset Allocation funds, as well as the Thrivent Balanced Income Plus Fund, the Thrivent Diversified Income Plus Fund and the Thrivent Growth and Income Plus Fund.

The Best Global Large Cap Core Fund over Three Years award was based on the performance of the Thrivent Large Cap Stock Fund.  All three awards recognize the company’s consistently strong three-year risk-adjusted performance (as of Nov. 30, 2015) relative to peers in the respective categories.

Since they were launched ten years ago, the asset allocation funds have helped shareholders meet their retirement and other financial goals. Thrivent Mutual Funds began offering the funds online with no sales load in February of 2016. The funds are also offered through Thrivent Financial representatives around the country.

Thrivent Mutual Funds was honored at an awards gala in New York City on March 22. Senior investment officers from Thrivent participated in panel discussions, round-table sessions and interviews to promote its strategy of long-term, disciplined investment management.
