Planet Fitness to hold grand opening

Planet Fitness, at 710 Jake Alexander Blvd. W., will hold its grand opening celebration on Monday, Aug. 15.

The fitness center will officially be open for business on Monday at 5 a.m. The celebration will start at 5:30 p.m., with a ribbon cutting, radio remote and free Pelican Snow Cones.

NASCAR driver Joey Logano will also be at the grand opening signing autographs.

The event is free and open to the public while supplies last.
