Dairy Queen to host Miracle Treat Day for Children’s Miracle Network

SALISBURY — Dairy Queen will be donating $1 to the Children’s Miracle Network for every Blizzard Treat sold during Miracle Treat Day on Thursday.

Dairy Queen has been hosting Miracle Treat Day for more than 10 years, according to the event’s website. Last year, the company was able to donate more than $5 million to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals around the country and Canada.

More than 32 million patients visit Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals every year.

The Dairy Queen locations at 1004 W. Innes St. and 2143-D Statesville Blvd. will be participating in the event, according to Melissa Utley, owner of the Dairy Queen on West Innes along with husband Robert.

Amanda and Scott Earnhardt are the owners of the Dairy Queen on Statesville Boulevard.

Melissa Utley said businesses can place large orders in advance. Donations will also be accepted.

Dairy Queen is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
