This year, Olive Garden restaurants nationwide announced a partnership with NFHS Network to recognize Team Moms and the high school athletes they support. To celebrate this partnership, Olive Garden at 1425 Klumac Road will host a Spirit Night event to encourage the community to get involved in celebrating Salisbury High School tonight from 4 to 10 p.m.

NFHS Network is a high school sports media company, which will partner with the restaurant chain to launch GoTeamMoms.com, which will serve as a resource and destination to recognize Team Moms.

Team Moms volunteer to assist coaches and often lead team communications, fundraising, travel coordination and more. The website will feature Team Mom’s Best-Kept Secrets and game day highlights from high schools around the nation. In addition, coaches, athletes, family members and the community are invited to contribute shoutouts or photos of their favorite Team Mom using #GoTeamMoms on Twitter and Instagram to be featured on the website.

Since the beginning of the partnership with NFHS, Olive Garden restaurants nationwide donated more than $570,000 dollars to local high schools.
