Branding strategist to speak at Chamber breakfast

The new Rowan County brand campaign with Steve Chandler of ChandlerThinks will speak at Rowan County Chamber of Commerce’s next Power in Partnership (PIP) breakfast on Thurs., Feb. 18, 7:30 a.m. at Trinity Oaks on 728 Klumac Road.

This month’s PIP will be sponsored by F&M Bank.

Chandler is the owner and brand strategist of ChandlerThinks, the firm working with the Salisbury-Rowan Convention & Visitors Bureau on the new Rowan County brand campaign.

Chandler has over two decades of experience in strategic planning and brand development for local, regional and national brands connected to the hospitality industry.

ChandlerThinks is based in the Nashville, Tenn., area.

The Leadership Rowan Class will start their day at the breakfast and then venture out for each day’s session focused on a different aspect of the community. The dates for the 2016 breakfast meetings are: March 17 (Agri-business); April 21 (Health Care); and May 19 (Dr. Jim Johnson, UNC Chapel Hill – Leadership Rowan Graduation).
