Rowan weather: Get ready for a chilly weekend
Published 7:58 am Thursday, November 19, 2015
This warm day will be the last one for a while. Once the rain clears, it’s going to get cooler, chilly and downright cold.
The morning is misty and foggy, and showers and storms are likely — 70 percent — mainly before noon. Gradual clearing is expected this afternoon, with a high of 73. South wind at 7-9 mph will shift to the west this afternoon. Tonight will be clear and 43, with northwest winds at 6-8 mph.
Friday will be sunny and 59, with a north wind of 6-10 mph making it feel cooler. The low Friday will go all the way down to 34.
Saturday will be sunny, too, with a high of 56 and east northeast winds in the afternoon around 5 mph. Saturday night will be a little colder, 33.
Sunday, sunny again, and 10 degrees cooler, with a high of 46. Bring in the pets and add another log to the fire Sunday night, when the low drops to 26.
Monday will be very similar, sunny, with a high of 47 and a low of 28.
A bit of a warmup for Tuesday, when sunny skies take us back up to 54, but the low will be freezing, 32 degrees.
More sun for Wednesday with a high of 55.
