Livingstone to induct five into athletic Hall of Fame

SALISBURY — The Livingstone College Athletic Hall of Fame will welcome its 2015 class of inductees when five individuals are inducted tonight.

Inductees are: Former football star Robert Johnson’73 of Detroit, Mich.; twin brothers and former football standouts James Cunningham ’90 of Draper, Utah and John Cunningham ’91 of Lakeland, Tenn.; former football star D’Andre Hopper ’02 of Salisbury; and for Meritorious Service, Carolyn Anderson ’67 of Winston-Salem.

Tonight’s  (7 p.m.) induction ceremony will be held at the Livingstone College School of Hospitality Management & Culinary Arts, located at the former Holiday Inn in Salisbury, and will be honored at halftime of Livingstone’s Homecoming football game here Saturday against Fayetteville State.
