State Rep. Carl Ford, R-76, is bringing top members of the N.C. House of Representatives to China Grove today.

North Carolina House Speaker Tim Moore and House Majority Leader Mike Hager are scheduled to be in China Grove for a fundraising event to kick-off Ford’s re-election campaign.

The event will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Gary’s BBQ on U.S. 29. At the top end, the requested donation level is $5,100. The lowest contribution amount listed on an event announcement is $50.

The event is open to the public, but Ford asks that attendees RSVP by emailing angela@fordbroadcasting.com.

Ford is serving his second term in the General Assembly as a member of the N.C. House. He is running for a third term.
