NAMI Rowan (National Association of Mental Illness) is having a Celebration of Success Luncheon on Thursday at Rowan Public Library on West Fisher Street.
This is NAMI Rowan’s only fundraiser to raise money for education programs offered throughout the year for free to help individuals and their families as they travel through the road of mental illness.
The Rev. John Tucker, pastor of Gloria Dei Lutheran, will lead the lunch prayer. A healing ceremony starts at 10:30 a.m. Doors for the luncheon open at 11 a.m.
The keynote speaker is Charles Sheeler, a Vietnam veteran, former police officer and pastor. Awards will be presented to individuals who have succeeded in their goals this year.
There will also be a silent auction.
Lunch is $10 for individuals with diagnosis and $15 for everyone else.
