Rowan weather: Mid-90s today

You might have seen some fog this morning, as we are starting out at 66 degrees with 100 percent humidity.

Today will be mostly sunny and quite hot, with a high of 94. The wind will pick up a little this after noon, from the west southwest at 5-7 mph.

We have a 30 percent chance of showers and storms tonight, with a low of 70. Little accumulation is expected.

The chance of rain goes up to 40 percent for Thursday, but it will still be partly sunny and 90. Thursday night’s chance of rain goes up to 60 percent, with a low of 69. Up to a quarter inch of rain is possible.

Friday has a 50 percent chance of showers and storms, still with partly sunny skies and a high of 88. The chance of rain drops Friday night to 30 percent, with a low of 68.

Saturday will be mostly sunny and a little less hot, with a high of 87; the low will be 67.

For Sunday, mostly sunny skies with a high of 90; low of 69.

Monday is pretty much the same, but with a 30 percent chance of showers and a high of 90. Monday night’s low will be 69.

And Tuesday also has a 30 percent chance of showers, with a high of 89 under partly sunny skies.
