Landis Board of Aldermen to meet Tuesday

The town of Landis will receive a property gift from the FCLA Family Limited Partnership during their monthly meeting Tuesday.

The board will also discuss revisions to the town’s nuisance ordinance and consider calling for a public hearing.

Also on the agenda, is a zoning map amendment request and public hearing.

The board will also consider approving annexing town owned property and receive recommendations from the planning board concerning the property’s initial zoning.

Board members will consider appointments to the Rowan Works Funding Partners Advisory Council and will discuss its approval from the Department of Natural Resources for its utility metering project.

The board will consider approving a pole attachment agreement with Time Warner, which would allow the company to attach its cables to the town’s utility poles.

Landis’ Board of Aldermen will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Landis City Hall, 312 S. Main St. in Landis.
