Rowan weather: Cloudy again

The next few days look pretty cloudy. When the sun returns, it will be noticeably cooler.

Today we’ll have clouds and a 20 percent chance of rain, with a high near 60. The chance of rain tonight is 30 percent, with a low of just 54.

Thursday brings a 30 percent chance of showers, with possible thunderstorms after 3 p.m. More clouds, but a warm high of 76 degrees, with southwest winds 5-11 mph and gusts up to 20 mph. Thursday night brings a 60 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms and a low of 46. Wind will shift to the northwest overnight.

For Friday it will be a 50 percent chance of showers, clouds and a high near 59, with north winds at 7-9 mph. Friday night we hit the freezing point of 32.

Mostly sunny Saturday, with a high of just 48 degrees and a low below freezing, around 26. It’s a scary time for people who have planted gardens and crops.

Sunny Sunday, Palm Sunday, with a high near 55 and a low around 40.

Monday should be sunny, too, with a high of 68, a great spring day. The low will be 44.

And Tuesday looks good, too, with sunny skies and a high near 67.
