Rowan weather: More clouds, chance of rain

Today and the rest of the week look really gray. At 7:45 a.m., it’s overcast and 51 degrees. With an 80 percent chance of rain, most will come before noon, with a high of 69.

Tonight, we have only a 20 percent chance of rain, and the low will be a warm 59.

For Wednesday, we have a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, particularly in the afternoon. The high will be 72, with minor accumulations of rain, except in thunderstorms. We’ll still have a 50 percent chance of rain Wednesday night, with a low around 52.

Rain is likely (60 percent chance) on Thursday, but mostly after 4 p.m., with a high near 56 and wind from the northeast. Thursday night’s chance of rain goes up to 70 percent, with a low of 43.

No break for Friday, either, with another 70 percent chance of rain and a high near 47. The low will be just 45, with a continued likelihood of rain.

How about Saturday? Well, there’s a 50 percent chance of showers, with a high near 60. The chance of rain drops to 30 percent Saturday night with a low around 48.

It looks like Sunday is our next chance for sun, with a high hear 64 and a low around 40.

Monday could be mostly sunny with a high near 60.
